Short version. This is a free fan game. Play it, share it, be decent in the names you post. We can remove anything that is not.
What this is
Any Lineup is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any league, team, club, players' association, studio or publisher, or by any person named in it. Names and team names are used only to say who and what they are.
Ratings, secret stats, chemistry, team scores and projected season records are our own editorial opinion for fun. They are not official statistics and not a prediction of anything real. Biographical details come from public sources and we try to get them right, but we cannot promise they are.
Posting teams and sending suggestions
- The name on a posted team is public. Do not use a name that is hateful, harassing, sexual, or that contains someone's personal information or contact details.
- Do not post by script or in bulk, and do not try to overload or break the service.
- We may hide or delete any posted team or suggestion, and may limit or switch off posting, at any time and without notice.
- Anything you send us, we may keep, display (posted teams) or act on (suggestions) as described in the privacy page. You keep your rights in what you wrote; you give us permission to use it for running the game.
Photos and other material
Player and portrait photos come from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, and each keeps its own open licence and its author's credit, listed on the credits page. The portraits on the Leaders from History and Mythology cards are artwork generated with an AI image model. The game's code, design, ratings and writing belong to us. Please do not copy them wholesale.
Removal requests
If you are a rights holder, a person shown or described here, or anyone with a concern about something on this site, email hello@furmanstudios.com with what and where, and we will look at it promptly and remove it where it is warranted.
No warranty
The game is provided as it is, without promises that it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above will move when we do. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
