How it works
- Spin. The slot machine lands on a decade and a team, such as one franchise in one era. You are dealt six players from that pool and pick one, then decide where he plays.
- Pick a card. Each card shows only height, weight and speed. Every other rating is a secret until the end.
- Choose the spot. Decide where your pick plays on the board: basketball, football (offense, defense or full team) or soccer, each with its own pool of real players. Nobody tells you the best position while you draft.
- Get your season. Fill the lineup to see its overall, a tier and a projected 82-game record (or the football and soccer equivalents).

What decides your record
Each card has eight ratings: Speed, Strength, Shooting or technique, IQ, Defense or toughness, Endurance, Clutch, Leadership. Speed shows on the card; the rest stay secret until the results screen. Teammates from the same franchise play better together. Every position cares about different ratings, so the same card can be a star in one spot and a passenger in another. That is the whole game: where you put them.
A real run

Kyrie Irving, Bob Pettit, Cade Cunningham, Kevin McHale, LeBron James, James Harden, Kevin Durant and Karl-Anthony Towns went 78-4 in a basketball run, and the game's Better spots note found nothing to improve.

- Do I need an account?
- No. Open the game, pick the pool and play. Your settings stay on your device.
- How is my season record decided?
- Every pick has hidden ratings, and each position cares about different ones. The game scores how well each player fits the spot you chose (body and ratings), adds team chemistry for what your players have in common, and turns the total into a projected 82-game record, mostly from the team rating with a little luck. Nobody tells you the best spot while you draft; the results screen shows a "Better spots" note afterwards.
- Are the ratings real?
- No. Heights, weights and ratings are approximate, fan-made and for fun. They are not official statistics.
- What is hard mode?
- Cards are dealt face down and you have to type a name to reveal one, so you have to know your pool.
- Can I share my team?
- Yes. When you finish you can save or share a picture of your lineup with its overall and projected record, or post the team to the shared teams page.
